Pfelders is part of the Ortler Skiarena area with access to 123 marked pistes, served by a total of 79 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Pfelders itself ( 5km 3 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ortler Skiarena ski resorts of Haideralm, Latsch Tarscheralm, Maseben, Mendel Ruffrè, Meran 2000, Reinswald, Rittner Horn, Schnalstal, Schöneben, Schwemmalm, Sulden am Ortler, Trafoi am Ortler, Vigiljoch and Watles.

The ski resort itself is at 1,600m 5,249ft , so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,170m 7,119ft , snow cover is generally reliable.

The resort boasts approximately 30 kilometers of ski runs, with elevations ranging from 1,600 to 2,500 meters. Notable pistes include the easy-going 'Rif. Passo del Giovo' and 'Rif. Gampen,' accessible via the Gampenbahn lift.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Pfelders is Bolzano, 68 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Brescia, Verona and Bergamo airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Pfelders is accessible via the nearest major airports, Innsbruck and Verona. From there, a scenic drive through the mountains leads you directly to this tranquil resort.
