The ski area of Schwemmalm is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,500m 4,921ft , with 18km 11 miles of marked runs.

Schwemmalm is part of the Ortler Skiarena area with access to 123 marked pistes, served by a total of 79 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Schwemmalm itself ( 18km 11 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ortler Skiarena ski resorts of Haideralm, Latsch Tarscheralm, Maseben, Mendel Ruffrè, Meran 2000, Pfelders, Reinswald, Rittner Horn, Schnalstal, Schöneben, Sulden am Ortler, Trafoi am Ortler, Vigiljoch and Watles.

With ski lifts as high as 2,600m 8,530ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Schwemmalm is Innsbruck Airport, 74 minutes drive away.

Bolzano airport is also within three hours drive.

Schwemmalm is easily accessible by car or public transport, with the nearest major airport being Bolzano. From there, you can take a scenic drive or convenient bus service to the resort, making your journey hassle-free.
