Bruneck-Kronplatz
One of Italy's larger ski regions and part of the larger still Dolomiti Superski pass, with more than a dozen towns and villages linked on to the huge Plan de Corones ski mountain. Bruneck / Brunico is one of the few large towns to be found in skiing areas and thus offers the range of facilities which others can only dream of. The skiing on the Plan de Corones is accessed through Riscone above.

Bruneck-Kronplatz Overview

Notable Ski Runs
The longest possible descent in Bruneck-Kronplatz is 6km4 miles long and the most difficult run is the 'Piculin', which is 2km1 miles in length.
Snowboarding
Plan de Corones has a half-pipe with FIS dimensions located at the bottom end of the Plateau slope on the Valdaora side. The pipe is 100 metres of length, 15 metres in width from wall to wall and has a height of 3.5 metres and an average incline of 18 - 20°. The half-pipe has competition dimensions and was used for the FIS Snowboard World Cup Finals in 1999. The facilities, outside competitions, are available for all snowboard enthusiasts
