The Portes du Soleil Ski Area includes 14 French Ski Resorts with a combined total of 400km of downhill skiing, with 285 individual pistes, served by 196 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine, Saint Jean d'Aulps, Champoussin, Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins and Torgon.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
