The Swiss ski resort of Torgon is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,150m 3,773ft, with 35km 22 miles of marked runs.


Torgon is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area with access to 410km 255 miles of downhill skiing, with 115 marked pistes, served by a total of 115 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Torgon itself (35km 22 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Portes du Soleil ski resorts of Champéry, Champoussin, Les Crosets, Morgins, Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine and Saint Jean d'Aulps.

With ski lifts as high as 2,001m 6,565ft, snow cover is generally reliable.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.


Torgon offers some good boarding and there is a Snow Park in Torgon.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Torgon is Sion, 60 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Basel, Chambery, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich, Dole–Jura and Turin Caselle airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Snow-making is available, on 5km 3 miles of ski runs, with 6 snow cannons.
