Carol,

have only stayed in the summer but would not hesitate to recommend the Jägerhof where you will be well looked after by Renate and her team there. Excellent food and very friendly atmosphere where staff could not do more for you to ensure you have a great holiday.

Hotel is situated 3-4 min walk from the village main gondola but there is a lift directly outside the hotel and moving walkway in tunnel below which takes you directly to the Fimbabahn gondola which takes you to the main Ldap ski area. The tunnel also takes you to the main street in the village just outside an Intersport shop The middle and top station of the Fimbabahn are very close to the middle and top stations on the main Silvretta gondola in Ischgl. Can see the routes of the lifts on the www.ischgl.at website.

hope this helps,

David

I ride salomon X wing tornado with Z12 bindings 172mm, fantastic on piste and good in powder, slightly narrow waste for realy deep of piste but still good off piste. Read the reviews for them normally £500 but you may get last seasons model for around£370.00 Try L.D. Mountain Center
www  I USED TO BE VERY INDECISIVE BUT I`M NOT TO SURE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seems like a crazy idea but just to pull this back towards topic......

I did NOT like the aero GT ski-demoed last years model and really got nothing out of it turning wise-if you want something that is easy to turn you need to try the Rossignol 9S-doesnt need to be race model, put a huge grin on my face but maybe try the 9X as it comes in a little longer for GS turns.

That Fischer Progressor is a decent ski too

I ski the scott RC and love it-maybe try them too? they are a toned down skier cross ski

let us know what you choose! :D
