April skiing Cortina

I'm thinking of skiing in Cortina the first 2 weeks in April. Would anyone have any experience or advice on how the snow is at that time of year on average ? Tom.

Tom, my wife and I spent 4 days skiing in Cortina the first week in April in 2013. We arrived the Monday after Easter and had the town and slopes to ourselves. Snow was fine that year with spring like conditions in the valley and new powder each night at elevation in the evening. The conditions, weather and general lack of people made it the trip of a lifetime for us.
