Altmünster features the impressive Grünberg mountain, reaching an elevation of 1,096 meters. The ski area offers around 20 kilometers of pistes, including the challenging 'Schwarze Piste' and the family-friendly 'Blaue Piste', serviced by modern lifts like the Grünberg cable car.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Altmünster is Linz, 57 minutes drive away.

Salzburg, Graz, Vienna, Munich, Innsbruck Airport and Klagenfurt airports are all within three hours drive.

Linz and Salzburg are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Altmünster is easily accessible via the A1 motorway, with the nearest major airport being Salzburg, about 80 kilometers away. Regular train services also connect to the nearby town of Altmünster.
