Sounds like you need more lessons did you just have 1 lesson ? You need to have at least 4 2 hour lessons otherwise you will pick up bad habits and take years to master it! Learning the basics are really important and snowplough is one of them as there will be times later on you will need to use it when a piste is narrow and you have a lot if traffic on it ! Learn to do both and you need to bend your knees lean forward and get low in snowplough ! With hockey stops use the width of the mountain and on your turns even going back uphill to slow yourself down remember this and you will always be safer ! Keep practicing !

Hi all I'm going back to Milky Way sestriere/sauze mid march and I'm quite keen on practicing my moguls I find them good fun and I'm not afraid to improve ! Last visit in January I couldn't find a mogul field that was actually listed on the piste map there was a few bumps on pistes that have been naturally carved up but they were short! Does anyone know or experienced where they are ??

Ok ! Here's a question ! Is it easier for a man to go skiing alone or a woman to go skiing alone ???? I'm a woman and I nearly had to book a skiing holiday on my own this year as my partner didn't want to go so I threatened to go alone which did nt bother me at all, because I've been to sauze 4 times I have made a few friends and contacts and its such a friendly place loads of English live out there too! So what do you think guys???
