Ive been looking into skiing in Tignes in the summer as they have a glacier, i'm also into cycling and swimming in the lakes so it looks like a good destination for a summer holiday with the skiing combined, anyone out there been to Tignes in the summer and skied on the glacier and also where to stay, we are a family of 4 and do self catering, help please !!!

Just returned from Sauze D'oulx fresh snow made for fantastic skiing conditions, also fresh snow there yesterday and today with sun forecast for the rest of the week, if you are looking at a skiing break get yourself booked and go what a fantastic place and same price food and drink as uk you can't go wrong!!! Leave Stansted on early flight to Turin and you will be on the piste skiing by 12 noon its so easy! :P :P[b]

No more sleeps but maybe a snooze waiting to get on the eurotunnel and there are long delays anyone else out there in the queue I will wave!!! Grrrr!

Looks like its snowed in Avoriaz as I looked on webcam early morning and the roof tops were dry then looked in afternoon and there was snow on them lets pray for more ive got 4 more sleeps!!!!! :P

Ive just invested in a pair of ski boots and have thought about purchasing boot Dryers, can anyone recommend a brand they seem to range in price but would much rather have something that did a quicker job bearing in mind there are 3 lots of boots to dry in our family! Because we drive and use our car maybe an idea with a cigarette attachement to power the warmer in the car seems a good idea, any help and advice appreciated!

Went to Flaine last April plenty of snow on all pistes, you can guarantee it will be good!

Has anyone been to Saint Jean d'Aulps booked for Feb Half term and need tips on area bars restaurants and linking to Avoriaz we are driving to resort so will have a car etc. thanks NIIIXSY :lol: |
