Hi
Can anybody recommend a decent place to ski in April - I know it's end of season, but can't get out any earlier!
I've heard Switzerland is good..... any suggestions / recommendations?
Thanks

Cool...thank you!
In that case, wouldn't somewhere like les Arcs be better? That's really high!

I think Tignes reaches up to 3500m, les arcs about 3200m
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

I went to Les Arcs in late march and it was pretty slushy lower down on the cloudy days & was slushy high up on the sunny days. It seemed to rather catch the sun.
It was unusually warm but I doubt those coming out for Easter the next week had great conditions.

Banff (Sunshine Village), Canada has great snow at that time of year.

Take a look at Chamonix, France. I have been in late April and the conditions are still excellent. They close the lifts generally about the 10th May, and only because they need to let the seasonal staff away then, not because the snow has gone.
Great resort any time, big area(although not all together), lots to do off the slopes, and a short transfer from Geneva. There are also lots of accomodation options, from cheap hostel type places, right up to luxury chalets.
