Thanks Embrarae for you tip on the attaching to boot tecknique, i have seen this on youtube so may give this one a go, also is it worth getting a handlebar mount to attach to the ski pole for filming, i'm trying to keep the cost down on buying all these extras, can i use any DIY method for this, there must be something cheaper thatn £20 that you can pick up in DIY stores anyone????

Thanks icy, when the sun shines in sauze in march its soooo warm, if you can go over to San sicario its a sun trap and plenty of great restaurants to stop !

How was the sticky mount attached to the ski, I'm worried that the adhesive wont be strong enough and I would lose the camera, I've seen the YouTube clip on how to attach to ski boot so that's a good tip, which gopro have you got ? Great video

Good or bad I haven't done a package ski deal for 8 years alway done independently in europe although would probably use if I went further afield like USA and Canada !

14 sleeps .............. Looked at webcam in sauze d'Oulx today and snowing and more predicted in next few days, friends out there say fab ski conditions so can't wait now, I have booked a slightly nicer hotel too first time there so looking forward to new adventures !

My Gopro arrives today so i'm going to give it some trial run filming before i go skiing in 3 weeks, plan to do a few bike rides and see how it fairs with positioning battery life and what GB card I need, it won't come with card so I will have to get one but comes with chest harness and wrist strap!
As a rule I don't usually wear a helmet skiing (OMG I hear you all gasp in horror!) yes I probably should, anyway not sure I can put on head without one has anyone tried it LOL !!!!!!!! |
