Would it put you off booking with Neilsen for next year...?

Only used Neilson once for a package, they never seem to come up with a good enough deal tbh

Used Neilson twice over the years, once 6 years ago when they had a really great deal to a fab hotel in Kronplatz (they stopped offering Kronplatz soon after, I wonder why?)and second time in April 2010. Stayed in Livigno when all the flights were cancelled due to ash cloud. Have to say they were very good organising our party back by coach, we were delayed only by about 12 hours from original arrival time. Well, mostly thanks to the great Italian coach drivers who smooth talked our way through the port with no delays (otherwise would've sat there overnight as missed our originally booked ferry slot).
Agree with Toni H, there's been nothing tempting about Neilson's deals for a long time.

I have taken many holidays with Neilson over the years, mainly because they were the only package provider for Are Sweden but this year they have taken out all the affordable properties out of the centre of town in favour of the luxury end of the market. This has doubled the base price of the holiday as instead of s/c apartments with fully fitted kitchens we are left with bed and breakfast or half board hotels with no option to cook. For that reason I won't be using them. Ski safari were able to offer 10 days flight/transfer/accom for less than neilsons 7 days of the same over the Feb halfterm in identical accom so it's not like Neilson didn't already have a big enough mark up nor is it as if there were many deals available at short notice in previous years so I doubt they had many unsold plane seats/hotel rooms.

I've never used them and to be honest i don't think i ever will. Their website is awful and it always seems to crash on me so i have never really even had the opportunity to look at their offerings.
