I'm afraid it's the opposite for me. My parents normally go every year, staying in 4* or 5* hotels, but this year it was just too expensive at half term, so they're not going.
I've really enjoyed sending them links to the chalet, discussing the snow report etc... :)
I'm afraid I would put skiing above work on house, hence the bathroom still has 1970s swirly tiles!
annoying parents !

They must have spent all their money sending you on skiing holidays...I suppose that's one way to get you out of their hair!
I pay my own way (mostly  ) and I don't even live at home!
You have only yourself to blame, for introducing them to the ski bug!
I'm sure you will still have fun if you take your children with you on your 'lads' skiing weekend?!
Seconded.
Me and Mrs H ski as much as we can. The kids love skiing, and have been with us a few times until this year. We ring them, email them, post stuff on facebook etc to tell them what a fantastic time we are having.
Then again, they have got 20 odd years to catch up with us yet.....and I didn't start skiing until I was 33.

My parents don't ski (anymore). Instead I have to put up with their monthly European City breaks. Skinned them for lunch today though

When I grow up I want to be a annoying parent. Our kids can watch us all growing old disgracefully spending all of their inheritance.

I took my kids on their first ski holiday last week, which they thoroughly enjoyed. So, whilst watching the Winter Olympics last night I casually mentioned that I might join a couple of mates on a skiing weekend. After finding out that it would involve only me and not them, I have been accused of being a 'horrible dad who doesn't love them and doesn't take them anywhere'.
I'm still in shock. :-o
