Careful on amazon marketplace or eBay, tons of fakes.

I buy from www.mymemory.co.uk

recently got a go-pro 3 black. great little thing and the WiFi option with the remote or in my case smartphone is pretty cool, however having the WiFi switched on drains the battery in no time. i got about 35 minutes footage out of mine before battery was gone and if you forget to switch it off on a slow lift that could be one run

You always read reviews where people receive faulty cards, but I have brought all my SD cards from Amazon and low and behold never had a problem.

Ian,

Amazon themselves are very reputable, i did say 'Amazon Marketplace', which is a haven for counterfeiters.
You need to be careful on that site as to who you are actually buying from.
If its not available to deliver from Amazon themselves i stay well clear.

Some of the fakes may well be fine but if i am sold a genuine brand i expect a genuine brand.

That link refers to the US but its the same here.

You lost me, why would one buy from "Amazon Market Place", I would not buy from them as I would not buy from a Market

With Amazon they allow private sellers to sell through their storefront.

For example look at the link below. This is on Amazon, comes up in an Amazon search and most people would believe you are buying from Amazon but you are not.
It this case the product is being sold by a company called Pixstop.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Android-MicroSDHC-Bi-coloured-Adapter/dp/B007XZM6VG/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1362172847&sr=1-5

I am not suggesting this supplier is selling fakes, just pointing out the way you can sell yourself almost as easily as eBay.

That is the market place. Its almost indistinguishable from Amazon as most people believe it.

I always use 7dayshop for all memory cards, batteries etc.

I've used them for years, first for all my photographic supplies when I used film, now for this sort of thing.
