We went to Vaujany last year and have already booked to go again this year. The road to the village is a lot better than the single track to ADH. There is a reasonably easy black run down to a lift that takes you back to the main lift near the village. There are moving stairways in covered tunnels that get you up and down in ski boots without too much walking. It is easier to get high on the mountain quick from Vaujany than ADH. Don't know much about night life because I only go to ski as far and as fast as I can (to give you some idea we had skied all the runs that were open by the end of day 2) so I am too tired to go out on the razz at night, that said there are a few bars and restaurants dotted around.
Skied, Aviemore, Arinsal, Bansko,Notre Dame De Bellecombe, Saint Gervais, Termignon, Alpe D'Huez x 3, Flaine

I dont want raucous, just want a good few bars that I can go to. Dont want a dead village, nice to have some bars without having to worry about getting back.
