I finally took the plunge today and bought a helmet. Whilst trying one on in the shop ( a white one ) I felt really awkward as I looked like an egg :) , however, my OH convinced that we tell our 7 year old to so why don't we.

So after driving home from Bicester all the time still pondering whether it was a good purchase, I rooted out the goggles keen to see if they would fit. I strapped them on, put the helmet on, pulled the goggles gown and looked in the mirror...

WOW, I looked like tom cruise in Top Gun, evcen my wife gave me a little wink thinking where did this fighter pilot come from.

I now cant wait to get on the slopes ) ) )

I got a black one to go with my black jacket, and promptly got nicknamed Daft Vader by my ski pals

Now when skiing, the farce goes with me
