I like Val Thorens:

1. Nice and high - pretty much guaranteed snow all season
2. Really big ski area with great coverage for all beginners, intermediate and advanced
3. Plenty of places to stay -
4. Contrary to popular belief, it is not that expensive! (waits for slating!!)

This season will be my 4th visit.

3V is on my list

(it's a long list unfortunately....I need either a time machine or a lottery win to complete)

VT aint pretty but the mountains are and the skiing is excellent. I just hope the coming snow season is half as good as last year's.

TimBen is bob on there. It is not the prettiest resort I have been to. In fact I could not tell which resort was I dont tend to look at the scenery.

I really liked VT. The views were stunning and there was so much to ski.

Avoid 18th onwards for 7 days. Weirdo week.
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens
