Best runs/pistes/off piste in Mayrhofen, Zillertal, Hintertux etc

Anyone recommend favourite, most exciting runs in the above areas? cheers.

what grades are you looking at? blue,red,black?

Penken area:
Obviously you have to do the Hari Kari, steepest black in Austria
Red 7 is a favourite of everyone I know who has been to Mayrhofen
I like the runs over at Eggalm, fast reds
The long run down under the Katzenmoos chair is great too
Red 16 is the difficult one, known as The Ridge, and its carnage at 3.30pm
Also thoroughly recommend the long Ahorn Abfahrt if snow is good down to the village, real lthigh burner and some steep bits to attack but watch out for the ice!!!

Some nice runs over in Zell as well, especially going over the back to Gerlos

Hintertux has better snow than anywhere in the region, get a bus up there early doors, and hear right to the top for the best runs.

it`s a nice run from zell over to gerlos. ok for skier but there is a bit of a flat bit for boarders. need to build up a lot of speed to get over it . the run down to gerlos it great , big wide blue run. hintertaux is good if you get a sunny day , but can get very chilly .

the run back down to the village in kaltenbach is great too.

I would definately recommend Eggalm, Kaltenbach, Zell am Ziller, Gerlos and have a day up on the Tux superb sking going back again in March Enjoy!!!!!!
