The Austrian Ski Resort of Zauchensee is part of the Altenmarkt-Zauchensee ski area with access to 65km of downhill skiing, with 35 individual pistes, served by 24 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Zauchensee itself (65km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Altenmarkt-Zauchensee ski resorts of Altenmarkt.
With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
