Telfes im Stubai Overview

Telfes is a pretty village in Austria’s Stubai Valley, a short distance from Innsbruck. The village is one of the first you reach as you drive up the valley from the Tyrolean capital. It shares the local Schlick 2000 ski area with it’s larger neighbour Fulpmes, but there are other ski areas a short ski bus rise away, across the valley above Mieders at Serles and above Neustift at Elfer. The fourth, best known and largest of the local areas is the Stubai glacier itself which offers a huge vertical and skiing through most of the year thanks to its access to the eternal glacier snow.
