Skiing

The Stubai Glacier stands at an impressive elevation of 3,210 meters, with ski areas sprawling across 1,500 hectares. Notable pistes include the wide, gentle slopes of the Gamsgarten area and the challenging, steep descents from the Schaufeljoch, served by modern lifts like the 3S Eisgrat gondola.

Stubai offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Stubai is Innsbruck Airport, 40 minutes drive away.

Bolzano, Salzburg, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Munich, Memmingen, Verona and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Reaching Stubai is straightforward, with Innsbruck Airport just 45 minutes away by car. Regular shuttle services connect the airport to the resort, making travel convenient for visitors.

When is Stubai open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid September, and usual closing is Mid July.
