Kitzsteinhorn is part of the Europa Sport Region ski area with access to 130km 81 miles of downhill skiing, with 81 marked pistes, served by a total of 53 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Kitzsteinhorn itself (23 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Europa Sport Region ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See.

With ski lifts as high as 3,020m 9,908ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

The Kitzsteinhorn features 41 kilometers of pistes, with elevations ranging from 1,500 to 3,203 meters. Notable runs include the challenging Black Mamba and the family-friendly Maiskogel area, accessible via the Gletscherjet and Langwiedbahn lifts.

Kitzsteinhorn offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Kitzsteinhorn is Salzburg, 120 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport and Linz airports are all within three hours drive.

Kitzsteinhorn is easily accessible via Salzburg Airport, about 100 km away, or Innsbruck Airport, roughly 140 km away. Regular train and bus services connect these airports to the resort, making travel convenient.
