1. Flumserberg , a medium sized resort above Lake Walen (Walensee) 1 hr by train from Zurich to Unterterzen , the aerial gondola to the resort is 50 yards across the road from the train stop.
2. Another 20 minutes on the same train line is the Pizol above Bad Ragaz - Wangs. Small resort but great skiing also for experienced.
3. East of Zurich above Wil near St Gallen is the Toggenburg 1,5 hr train to Nesslau and from here a short bus ride to Alt St Johan - Unterwasser - Wildhaus resorts. Fair sized resort. This is picture book rural Switzerland.
4. Klewenalp small resort, above Lake Lucerne 1,5 train to Stans (near Lucerne) then a short bus ride to either Beckenried or Emmetten. Breathtaking views from here over the lake.
All 4 destinations are very child friendly and offer easy skiing for inexperienced kids. I have been in all of them quite frequently so don't hesitate to ask.

Hi,
Verbier is always a great option. Plenty of easy slopes and loads to do off the slopes if you don't mind travelling a bit!
