Which one to choose! - Flying into Geneva or Salzberg (6 lads - good std)

If Austria, where's the best place to go that early for good condictions but also good night life? Going to Geneva, likewise?
Prefer Austria because the nightlife is usually more vibrant and because the French resorts seem to 'go to bed early' and don't offten have a 'centre' where you all meet up after a hard days' skiing. But if you know a Franch resort that doesn't......?
Any thoughts or suggestions!?

It's going to depend on the snow, so wait and see.
Not skiied near Salzburg but for easy access from Geneva your best bet for nightlife may be Chamonix if you want to stay in France - some good lively bars and a choice of ski areas (so long as you don't mind bussing around) should see you sorted.
Otherwise, Verbier is not much further (under 2 hours) from Geneva and definitely rocks at night though can be expensive depending on your tastes. The skiing's top too and conditions are usually good by mid-December.

The ski pass has 860+km of ski piste all on one pass at loads of different places. This is all around the Salzburg area.
Just by strength in numbers i would suggest coming to Salzburg as there are so many places to go on the one pass.
I am going skiing this weekend on the Reiteralm lift just 15min from my house (I live in Radstadt) so by the 14th Dec snow won't be a problem on this pass!
