:D :D :D Just got back from TK Maxx - managed to find a pair of Orage Ski Pants for £5.00 :D :D :D High spec at 10000 Waterproof & Breathability and in my favourite colour Brown.
Got some long sleeved tops and shoes only £1 or £2 each - they are having a final clearance sale. Ski Jackets not reduced yet but not much in there I like left now. |

I like the look of the one Actual Les Menuires is using;
http://www.i-gotu.com/ Integrates with Google Earth and your phone/digital camera to Geotag photos - might get one and find out how. It will give me something to play with if the now mended :?: broken foot gives me gip :( Have a look at his posts in the France Forum :mrgreen: |

You don't say when your holiday is? Is it a straightforward fracture? If you are talking of him skiing with any kind of cast on (Air or POP) your insurance will be invalid. Saying that my son fractured his on holiday learning to snowboard and he just went back to skiing!

I had heard that Herbert and his Harp is a feature of the Hotel Harfenwirt that should not be missed! We did not stay there but in the old Hotel Vicky taking our meals in the Hotel Schneeberger. Some unusual menus at times but the food generally ok. With the deals for the Harfenwirt you are sometimes placed in a nearby Guest House with meals taken in the Hotel.
Are you first time skiers? If so Neiderau is a good choice. Dave Mac, a Jet2 Neiderau fan will be there next week if my memory serves me right. |

Nielson are quite good for young people - my son went with them to Deux Alpes over New Year - they organised pub crawls and allsorts. As Far Queue says a catered chalet usually has some guiding included. Pleisure Holidays in Courchevel Le Praz specialise in snowboarding and are young person orientated and offer guiding. http://www.pleisure.co.uk/about.html
I have looked at some of the deals atm and If you are not tied to school holidays wait for one - http://uk.holidays.travelzoo.com/ski-and-snow/ Scroll down and there is a £299 holiday to Banff departs 27 January - some other good catered chalet deals too - don't pay £1500!!! |

Thanks for your messages of support Ladies - I am walking on it fine now with what feels like a ski boot on it so skiing in 4 weeks should be ok :thumbup:
Lets hope that us jet2skiers start to have a run of "Good Luck" for the rest of the season! |
