The year of no snow went to a tiny resort in Austria. Only one tiny run- you just got off a little higher up if you were ''expert'' Total waste of money. Went to a better resort on 5th day, but waited nearly 2 hours for last bus home. Dead busy and everyone pushed on- as I was at front of queue I shouted at bus driver that I was on that bus and if necessary I would throw someone off the bus! Totally showed myself up! To add insult to injury I left my ski on back of bus so had to wait for it to go around again to face same bus driver to retrieve lost ski! Why my kids find me embarrassing I will never know!
And hubby got flu after 3 days skiing! Holiday from hell! |

There's nothing wrong with rusty edges- as long as they're not mine. And my poles will be very bendy if I see a certain ski instructor! That's another story!

What are these ''Super Feet'' things? I am wondering because I have hideously flat feet with no instep whatsoever! This year my ski boots were really uncomfortable and it took about 4 months before my inner ankle bones no longer hurt! As this is not normal any suggestions? Makes me a bit nervous about buying my own boots. Have just been referred to an orthotist who may recommend an insole for my shoes but at 43 I feel it may be too late to learn to walk properly! Thanks

Glossi, thanks! But is it not cheaper to buy a six day Super Salzburger pass than a five day area pass and a one day pass for Saalbach? I have tried doing the maths but it is so bloomin' expensive whichever way you do it!
We have always used ski-zellamsee ski school. Is this the one you are thinking of? I know they now have a ski hire package along with three day ski school which sounds appealing as I can get to Saalbach for the day. Or dare I say it- have a day off! Sssshhh, don't tell anyone! Sue |

Advice needed!
Going to Zell am See in January and also want to spend the day skiing in Saalbach. Crystal have led me to believe that I need to buy a 6 day Super Salzburger pass to cover both resorts. Has anybody any advice what is the best way of going about this? I have looked at the Schmitten.at website where I can buy the lift pass directly but this really depends on the euro rate. Or I can prebook through Crystal, but this adds up to an extra £12 for each adult and £11 extra for my 12 year old! Any input will be great as my head is going to explode! And don't get me started on ski hire and ski school! |

Sounds like a great idea to me! 28th November is good for me. I hope some other J2skiers can also go- it will be good fun. |

It is very north if you are down south! Anything north of Watford Gap is north to some! Not to me mind you. Love Scotland! |
