I love watching the webcams whatever time of year. They have great seasons, and seeing the snow start to fall is magical. Love it.

Snow's nearly all gone now.

Tignes glacier had 30 cm this morning. Hurrah!

I know it's ridiculously early in the season, but I can't help but get a bit excited that winter is on its way and Les Arcs is currently experiencing a bit of an early season dump (as at 3.45 Weds 12 Sept).

If you look at the archive you will see that it started to rain earlier this afternoon, this turned to snow, and now it looks pretty.

And I know it will melt because the ground isn't cold enough or whatever, but IT'S SNOWING!
