Just out of interest, as we are considering Les Arcs this winter, what is in Peisey Vallandry after dark, is it a tiny place with nothing going on or are there pubs or easy access to somewhere a bit more lively?

Hi Clariana, welcome to the forum.

Green runs are few and far between these days, I very rarely come across them in Europe and when I do they are either really short or about 7 miles long and a flat road.

As much as it gets a battering on here, Niederau is a good resort for families and has relatively easy skiing with good ski schools.

And it's cheap!

As it rained most of the time we were in Cornwall, me and Mr Nelly are off to Dorset this weekend to enjoy the sun and our new/old bargain caravan.
