Considering Les Arcs in early Feb, currently looking at a DIYer by train, have found some nice accommodation in Paisey, anyone know what the journey is like from the train to the resort?
I can't be bothered to trawl the inter web.

Take a bit of care Nelly here. Peisey is way over towards La Plagne from 1600 and 1800. I am not sure there is even a road that goes direct between les Arcs and Peisey.
When I was there, in a different epoc, the route to Peisey was from the bottom of the valley down towards la Plagne.
That's his real face.

Might take a little longer than that depending on which bit of Les Arcs you are staying in. We've not used the funicular but I think it's only 10 or 15 mins up the mountain?
We were lazy last time and just hailed a cab. Took about 30 mins to get to Les Arcs 1950 and about 65 euros.

So how easy is it to get to the funicular from the station? We'd be arriving around 6 am so I'm guessing it might not be running then. Probably going to Paisey x

The train station in Bourg is next door to the Funicular so there is no problem there.
However as OA points out, peisey is quite a way from Arc 1600 so i don't think that you would take that route.
I imagine a taxi would be around £50
Off to Les Arcs myself at new year!
