Crystal ski

I worked for a ski company for several years in various resorts and the most ridiculous complaint I heard to a rep was that there was too much snow and what were they going to do about it.

Other treasures include 'If I don't eat breakfast will I be hungry by lunchtime' and 'why do my chips go cold when I sit outside?'

Blimey! I've NEVER heard of that happening before. I've travelled with Crystal once, we saw the rep on our first day and that was it, she faxed our departure details to the hotel the night before departure and that was as much communication as we got.

Things are looking up - have a good holiday!

Zell am Zee and Kaprun I believe are quite close - not sure how close though.

I heard a rumour the other day when chatting to a member of staff at Snow and Rock that the tour operators were getting a bit desperate and are planning on slashing their prices dramatically after half term.

Can anyone shed any light?

I skiied there once on a day visit from somewhere else (can't remember where) and I have friends that go there regularly. From what I remember it was a nice ski area and I would go back.

Not much help really am I?

Have fun!

My favourite bit of SS is when Martin Bell goes hell for leather down the run with his camcorder in one hand and a wayward ski pole in the other.
Livingo Ski hire/rental

There are so many rental shops in Livigno, I went to one of the big ones on the main street (can't remember the name) for my skis and was then told of a little shop just off the high Street called Bennys, it's pretty much a one many band but he has a good selection of skis at a more reasonable price than some of the bigger shops. He also does a brilliant ski service at a snip of the cost of the others.

Didn't use the ski school, but this years ski pass is 115 euros for 6 days.

HTH. Have fun! :D
