Ski Sunday - where is it?

Anyone else waiting for Ski Sunday to start?

I discovered that there was a 'Ski Sunday Special' on last Saturday afternoon about 4 hours after it aired - what idiot scheduled that?

All I know is that they are splitting the show in 2 - one for the racing and one for adventuring.

Saying that, the airlines are catching on to the 'clothes in a ski bag' thing and are getting funny about ski bags carrying anything but skis (depends on airline).

HTH.

I had them try that on me once but I argued that it was padding for the skis. I also pointed out that I would remove the padding if they were willing to repair any damages to my skis.

Like it - will remember that one.
1 Pence flights, don't miss out!

Let's hope they don't charge £150 for your luggage - am I being sceptical?

Am flying with Monarch from Gatwick next Sat& havent been able to get a definate answer either way :?:
Didnt want to suddenly have to rearrange my hold suitcase to get some boots in becayse they may be refused.
Any advice welcome.

I flew with Monarch last year and was told that the boots had to be included in the weight of the normal luggage, we packed our skis with clothes too which was probably far too heavy but they didn't check, our luggage was also overweight but they didn't say anything. HOWEVER, the people at the next check in desk, also Monarch, had snowboard bags with clothes packed in and they made them take them all out and put them in their normal luggage and then charged them for being overweight!

I think it could be a case of, chose your check in chick carefully.
