We just want a titchy to start our holiday off! Shame the minority have to ruin it with a complete ban.

*grumble grumble*
Off to Les Arcs again on 5 Feb (with Debs) - hurrah!
Yoga on the snow? Interesting.
Alcohol ban on Eurostar

Just heard some very very sad news. This was part of my holiday!

Why are they doing this to me? I want to cry :(

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
IMPORTANT EUROSTAR INFO,
Please note that Eurostar no longer permit alcohol on the overnight train. None will be sold on board and customers are not permitted to bring their own alcohol with them. Any alcohol will be confiscated during check-in and only non-alocholic drinks in sealed bottles will be allowed to pass through security at your departure station.

Definately don't cancel! Saalback is a great resort, the snow will come!

Having had a quick look at their lift map there are a good selection of blues, although spread around so you might not make visit them all. I would look into what's on offer in terms of lessons, if you do them all week (recommended) they will take you out every day and teach techniques needed as you progress.

Good luck and enjoy!
Also, is there a 'free' lift in 1600? I'd heard there was, but is it just one and what's it called?

Thanks
Hello Mr Crazy, can you answer a couple of questions for me please? We are arriving in 1600 on 31 Jan, hoping for a huge dump of snow before we arrive, it's been ordered.

Can you tell me where is a good place to stop for some apres that won't require too much skiing after a beer or two? Or is there anywhere in 1600 that's good for a beer? I know it's small so don't expect much, just some advice on where to go would be great.
