Let's enjoy the fresh snow of april and the lovely sunshine too. Yes, you can have both !

£200 per person halfboard accommodation with plenty of wine, great food and lively nights.

Our chalet is in Tignes les Brevieres, on the piste and in the heart of the typical village of Tignes.

Hi Jazzmaster,

The best way is the bus which leaves from Bourg st maurice train station. It's about 9 euro the trip.
You buy your ticket when you arrive at the station.

Good trip.
I've been to Tignes today and i was amazed by the amount of snow. Good snow falls last week and now sunshine.
I don't think you have to worry about snow in the northern alps, just choose a high resort (Chamonix, Tignes, Val d'isere, les Arcs, La Plagne..........)

Enjoy !
Yep, snow is really good in the Alps too. Lots of fresh snow everywhere and frezzing temperatures.
Last week was the hottest of the season and it seems that this week is the coldest.... more like january skiing.

Which is great. I told you at the beginning of the season the french say "Noel au balcon, Paques aux tisons" which means warm xmas, cold easter and it seems to be true !!

The skiing season is note finished !

Enjoy !
Cold fingers!!

Pavelski, i thought it was better to drink cold drink when it's cold and hot drink when it's hot (desert....), because your body spend less energy to try to warm or cool the liquid at the body temperature.

Is that true or it's false common idea ?
Book in advance is your best bet regarding the size of your group.
Try different companies (Ryan air, easyjet, b mi baby...) and also different airport. For Tignes you can look at Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon or Chambery, they are all about the same time (between 2 and 3hours).

From geneva you can get the bus which cost 93 euros return per person. Minibus transfer should be about the same price but quicker as they don't stop everywhere as the bus does.
If you have booked a catered chalet, ask them about transfer, most of them do it.

Cheers !
20% off for j2skiers on every booking for the week 25th march to 1st april.

Tignes is a great place for spring skiing and our catered chalet is on the piste.
