Never heard of flight from UK to Annecy.
As far as I know it's just flight to and from Paris with Airfrance.
The only UK person I know using this airport has his own jet !!! :!:
It's quite a small airport.
The closest one you can use in winter is Chambery. About 1h30/45 to Tignes....

If it's just the 2 of you, you'd better rent a car with winter equipement or take the bus Geneva-Tignes around 90 euros each return, but about 4 hours, which might be a bit too much for just a week end.
Private transfer are quite expensive just for 2 people, probably around 150 euros each on week end and in December.

I think you'll find more shops and services in La Plagne centre, but Belle plagne is nice and very high and also on the slopes.

it is snowing at this very moment in the northern french alps up to 1200 m, so keep praying, but it sounds gooood !!!
