:D that sounds great,will be comming out to Bourg-saint-maurice in a few days to fix my leaky tap,so will enjoy a nice hike in the nice snow,hopefully this is going to be a good year.fingures crossed :D

Here's another for you...
The snow is just easing off here in La Clusaz this morning after over 24 hours of heavy snow - and now they've got the snow cannons going to top up the 40cm+ of new snow that has fallen at resort level (1100m). Hopefully preparing for a weekend opening of the lifts this weekend??? :D
It sure makes a nice change from last year - I don't remember digging out this much snow at any time last season!

Hi Snow Girl.
This is great news. We are staying in Bourg this year from the 6th of January for 11 weeks. It's so good to see early snow this year. Have you seen Lech in Austria. they have over 2 mtrs. See www.lech.com for some great images. Have you got any tips for this coming season. we want to ski all over the Frech Alps. Any tips on getting good price lift passes?

:D hi,mate text me earlier there is nearly a foot of snow outside the hotel Le Monal in Ste.Foy today.,but reckons a slight thaw for a day or so then will be freezing temps agin and more snow early to late next week.Good year this year,think i will sacrifice my last worthers original to the snow gods when i come out next week. :D

:D hi fellow skiers and boarders,just got back from Bourg-Saint-Maurice today and while i was sitting having a drink at a friends place up the road in Villaroger yesterday afternoon the mist and clouds parted, after a few days of blocking the views around Les Arcs and the surrounding areas to reveal lots of fresh snow up the mountains and more is expected this week and the end of next,so it looks like there will be a very good snowbase for the comming season...yippeee :D
