Hi,

I would go for mountain boots, Salomon proposes every type you need as well as Timberland, they last forever and are not so expensive.
I would say, nobody should be allowed to wear moonboots !!!

Enjoy your first skiing holidays and let us know how you did !
goggles advice please

I would advise contact lenses because glasses are really steamy every time you go inside.

I used to wear glasses because I couldn't put the lenses on, but after a winter season I took my time and try again contact lenses and now I can't go back on glasses !
However, you can wear glasses under ski goggles. You can even ask your specilist for prescription lenses on your goggles, a bit expensive though.
Hi Jazzmaster, I agree that you should wait a bit until you know what you really want and until you reach your cruise level.
However, boots are the most personnal things and are (for me) the most important. Everybody already experience a whole day of pain and suffering, and it's awfull !
I would advise that during your next trip you go in your favorite hire shop and try different brands and style every day ! You'll drive the salesman crazy but you'll experience all type of boots and find yours ! Enjoy !
Yeap, the same in Tignes and Les Arcs, below 1500 heavy rain and above, (means on the slopes) big snow !!!

It's so warm, i can't believe it, we've been to the pub yesterday late night in t-shirt at 1600 m !

We want some cold !!! But it's coming, i think.

Happy snowy year !

Happy New Year everybody !!!! :D :D :D

Your wishes of snow are becoming true !
New Year, New Snow, Enjoy !!!

Don't worry, the slopes are not as bad as you can imagine.
All our guests are really happy. If you stick in big resorts, they work really hard to make the pistes skiable, they can't afford not to.
And you still have 15 days, hopefully should be ok by then !
Enjoy
The french weather forecast says SNOW on Monday ..... and it should be a pretty good fall !

I'm looking forward being monday to find out !!
