Hi...where has the best chance of good snow conditions coupled with reasonable price, for a family ski trip in the school easter holidays? (First two weeks April)
Been seeing some silly prices so far- obviously price dependent on board basis etc, but would like less than £500/person ish
Any ideas?
Cheers

p.s I only ask cos we just returned from Andorra this week, and we're al hooked...it was great despite crap reports

Hi,
Bansko is the place that you are looking for, quite reasonable prices and good snow conditions even to the end of April. If you are interested you could visit our web-site for more information :

Tignes is probably as good a bet as anywhere - check out some snow reports.

Yeah Tignes, or anywhere high, France has most high resorts. Val Thorens, La Plagne, Les Arcs, then Obergurgl, Obertauern etc. Whats somewhere like Sestriere like in April?? I know Cervinia is good because i have a friend who goes there most Easters and she says its usually brilliant.

Ive just booked up to go to La Rosiere for the 2nd week of the easter break looking at current snow depths it should be OK I got a good deal with Ski Esprit holidays - they are a great company to go with if you have young children - went with them to Les Gets in feb and going back with them in a months time so they must be good and this time its just me and my daughter - OH doesnt get much time off work Must be brave or just hooked on skiing really - it is a Love it or hate it thing unfortuately I love it! hope you find somewhere good and at the right price - unfortunately Easter is prime weeks and prices do tend to hold though but keep an eye on them

Whatever you do go over 1850!! I would recommend Val Thorens personally. If you go on their website, get number and phone tourist board direct...they give some really good deals if you haggle and they all speak English really well!! Just don`t risk low given the season so far, unless you can book at very last minute and chase the snow!! J
A bad day on the slopes is better than a good day in the office !
