 hope you don't get caught out in the planned airport strikes during January, looks like the wife and I are going to be delayed unless an agreement is reached as we are due to fly out of Stansted on the 19th, just after the 48 hour strike has finished, backlog hell :XD: |

Is there a doctor in the house :?:
Have you tried googling 'skiing whist pregnant' brings up some interesting threads. The general consensus seems to be it's the individuals choice, no particular medical science to say either way. One thing to bear in mind though is however competent a skier you may be there are plenty of numptys on the slopes that could take you out, is it worth it :?: Probably not, I say go, enjoy the holiday, the mountain air and gentle exercise can only be good for both of you, oh and congratulations :!: |

from experience I have found that the Austrian resorts report fairly accurately, although I did notice whilst in Fieberbrunn earlier this year that the depth marker was in the middle of the piste and the grooming had probably added about another 5cms. Of cours last season 5 cms was a massive deal :P

whilst I'm sure the train ride is very scenic an' all, as you said you were still in the trip-planning stages would it not make more sense to fly into Innsbruck if you want to go to Mayrhofen :?: The transfer is much shorter, which means more time on the snow
