Patience, patience ... ;)

Well, you see, the List keeps getting longer ...

And seeing as how we're on a new page now, here's the Sleeps List updated to today, Thursday 19th December. And if anyone wants to annoy Bald-eagleman and push him further down the list by adding their holiday in front of his, or you see any mistakes, let me know by posting up on here.

Freezywater going to Mayrhofen in 2 days on the 21/12/2013

in fact, I have never experienced over six euro. You must be in all the trendy nightclubs

9 Euros in Courcheval, bar at the top of the gondola from 1850...and Heineken!! I wouldn't complain so much if it was Peroni ;)

freezywater wrote:hehe, love it! "money doesn't really come into the equation for us" and "rather than slum it with the paupers" anyone that will quite happily pay 8-9 euros a pint in france compared to 3-4 euros in austria because it must be better because it costs more is exactly the type of person who in my opinion deserves to get ripped off skiing in france...either you've got more money than sense or a rather high opinion of yourself! Get a grip and go to Austria, in my opinion a skiing holiday is better because of all the factors together, better apres, food is just as good as france, you're not ripped off on the mountain, the people are so friendly and the rich arrogant t0$$"*s stay in france...on 2nd thoughts...stay in france :)

Freezy: first and foremost, well said sir, and absolutely on the mark. I do detect our original posting friend was attempting to stoke something up with his comments, but people like him are welcome to their lift queues, 25 euro lunch platters, lack of tress and 9 euro beers in some pompous Russian infested pretentious bar......or something like that anyway ;-)

Secondly, welcome back dude.

Only just seen this, thanks Tony. Dipping in now and then :)

In preparation for our first trip this season in a fortnight I got the ski bag out of the garage last night, weighed it empty at 6.5kg, weighed skis at 6.8kg...with Thomson's 15 kg limit this doesn't leave an awful lot for 'padding' in the ski bag :( Weighed the hold bag...just under 5 kg, ski boots are 5.5kg to go in hold luggage or seperate (either way Thomson reckon their weight is deducted from hold allowance)leaving me a total allowance of 11.2kg for all my ski kit, wash bag and evening clothes plus chargers, ipad etc etc... Carry on allowance of 5kg is usually taken up by duty free :)
