How many 'weeks'do you have under your belt?

Try them out at a snow dome & see how she gets on; don't over tighten them & go back if she is in pain etc; Would advise a custom made footbed though; off the shelf okay but no where near as good as custom made ( & 60 quid does sound way too much for off the shelf)

I assume she was shown the correct sequence to buckle them up & advised how tight?

The insoles?
Off the shelf or custom fit? |

Is that £60 for a pair of 'off the shelf' insoles/footbeds? Seems a bit steep if that is the case. I can recommend the smart wool socks; don't smell, keep your feet amazingly 'dry', keep you warm & are very durable ( no i dont work for smartwool but do own several pairs). Would think if 'her'feet go numb ironing then skiing in the new boots will be a lot worse; did you have the 'shell check'( for correct size) stuff done etc when you were buying? Get it sorted sooner rather than later as the previous poster suggest, there is a 'fit' warranty of sorts. Good luck FB |

Have approx 6 weeks slope time; can ski pretty much anything up to 'blacks', although not over keen on steep reds & above!! Took the following from an ability section and probably fits me ( although I'm confident on medium to difficult reds my technique is making it hard for me so need to work on this); You are fine skiing blue pistes parallel and are confident on easy reds, but do not feel so good on steeper reds, or icy/bumpy sections. On next years trip with my ski buddy 'we' would like to get some decent teaching & was wondering if you could recommend some resorts & associated ski schools.
Have read good reviews on 'easiski' at L2A & Eureka at Serre Chevalier; wondered if there were any more out there that deliver a really good teaching experience. My preferred country is Italy but willing to try anywhere in Europe although not to sure about 'eastern' Europe ( & would ideally like to wait for snow before committing, unless resort is 'snow sure'). Thanks in advance FB |

After more research into 1/2 term I think it will have to be easter as the prices at 1/2 term are pretty horrific when paying for four of us. My kids schools break beginning of 2nd week of April next year for easter hols so maybe somewhere like L2A, ADH or other high resort will fit the bill. Thanks for the input everyone. FB |
