Hi All,
Am planing our next family ski trip and due to school commitments looks like we have to go at 1/2 term! Have found some reasonable places to stay but am keen to avoid the crowds if at all possible at this time. Am looking at France as most likely we will be driving ( although doesnt have to be France); have been to Val Cenis before but not in school hols. Was also looking at Le Clusaz. Any recommendations ?? Thanks in advance FB |

Coop
that seems a decent deal but its the very quiet time of the season so may be available even cheaper closer to the date? + would wait till the snow arrives in Soldeu as it can be a bit sparse at that time of year ( so £500 for not a lot of skiing isnt so cheap after all) FB |

How did you find the locals? Was considering the place a while ago but was put off by a few negative reports on the attitude of the local french. Interested to know as it does look a bargain place to go to. Cheers FB |

Are EJ 'better' than Ryanair?
Would like to know, have used Ryanair many times and although never had any bad experiences like Ian I always feel like I,ve been 'done' for some reason I cant explain! I guess its little things like their stupid rules for not allowing 'pooling' of luggage weights & no recline on the plane seats. So if you have used RA or EJ which do you prefer & why? FB |

Hi
Am planning next seasons first trip; around end of Jan, have been looking at Soldeu. Fair amount of terrain and reportedly good ski schools. Would any one here recommend? All hints/tips gratefully received. Thanks FB PS ; am intermediate level with approx 6/7 weeks on snow under the belt |
