Hi All,
Am planing our next family ski trip and due to school commitments looks like we have to go at 1/2 term!
Have found some reasonable places to stay but am keen to avoid the crowds if at all possible at this time.
Am looking at France as most likely we will be driving ( although doesnt have to be France); have been to Val Cenis before but not in school hols. Was also looking at Le Clusaz.
Any recommendations ??
Thanks in advance

As you're driving I have always looked at resorts about an hour from Geneva, so the first turn off right from Bonneville leads to LGb and Le Clusaz, LGb possible the least congested but a toss of a coin really.
Further on turn off right at Cluses and that then takes you to the Le Grand Massif resorts,Morillon, Samoens,La Carroz and also to Morzine, Les Gets etc etc plenty to choose from.
I have never skied half term and never will but I understand it is a necessity for some folk. So happy hunting 8)

Have you looked the other side of France ?
Les Angles or Font Romeu
Not sure what those further north are like at half term, but Les Angles is never packed on the slopes.
