I am not the most adventurous eater in the world. more of a beans and chips type of gal..and the kids are even worse. So looks like it will be beans on toast most nights lol.
When I was in Austria many moons ago I remember we ate out and had a fondue. It was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Do they still do fondue? although then again, kids and boiling fat?!! lol |

Hi there
I was just wondering how many "take out" places there were in Niederau ie are there any chinese takeaway, pizza delivery or kebab shops? ( I think I probably know what the answer is) and what would be a rough price for a pizza? So my next question is - are there pizza restaurants or places that serve English type food. WE are self catering and I will problaby be doing most of the cooking (mainly because of cost with the pound being so weak and with 3 kids in tow, we cant really afford to eat all our meals out!) so I was just wondering about the nights I want to have off from cooking. otherwise it will be jam sandwiches all round! lol  |

thats a good point. I think I will contact my bank. I was wondering the same thing actually but was wondering more about the use of the debit card in Austria. Is it like the UK where every shop has them and you can use them for as little amount as you need?

I have also prepaid with skiset for our skis and boots and like you it wouldnt let us check the box for helmets. We have hired ours from the same place we hired our ski suits for £12. Just an option in case you are worried

thanks Jan
It looks really nice. I think we might go there one evening if we have got the energy, but I think we will be giving the wellness section a miss. Karen |

I wanted something temporary to put on the hire skis so i could take them off when i returned them. i was thinking about maybe the plastic type stickers that you sometimes get in kids sticker books that they can move around the book to put on the skis but the chances are they will fall off.
when you stop for a break do you tend to tie your skis together or just take them off and go? what is the protocol? |
