Hi there
I was just wondering how many "take out" places there were in Niederau ie are there any chinese takeaway, pizza delivery or kebab shops? ( I think I probably know what the answer is) and what would be a rough price for a pizza?
So my next question is - are there pizza restaurants or places that serve English type food.
WE are self catering and I will problaby be doing most of the cooking (mainly because of cost with the pound being so weak and with 3 kids in tow, we cant really afford to eat all our meals out!) so I was just wondering about the nights I want to have off from cooking. otherwise it will be jam sandwiches all round! lol

The restaurants are mainly hotel based, and most serve traditional tirolean fayre, all very healthy and hearty.
We bought food from the Adeg supermarket and cooked a couple of meals in. The hotels we ate out in were quite traditional, very quiet, lots of cutlery clanking and whispering going on.
Its not the most exciting place, but you will find good food generally speaking. Its Austria, there is no such thing as bad food in Austria.

I am not the most adventurous eater in the world. more of a beans and chips type of gal..and the kids are even worse. So looks like it will be beans on toast most nights lol.
When I was in Austria many moons ago I remember we ate out and had a fondue. It was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Do they still do fondue? although then again, kids and boiling fat?!! lol

Yeah, fondues are good, either with oil or cheese, then there's raclette, like a cheese grille type thing,or there's pierre chaud,a red hot paving slab or half an alp dropped on your table and cook on that! All good amusement for growing kids.
