Thanks for your replies. I have checked both insure and go and direct travel. I thought insure and go worked out a bit expensive (well more than direct travel anyway). When I say toboganning I mean sledging. Would this be classeed as the same thing?

sorry to hear about your disappointing news and so glad you can see the positive side. At least you might be able to get more years holidays away with your son.
Could he not tell them he had holidays booked? most companies ask that question at interview? Karen |

welcome to the forum. there are lots of niederau experts on this forum so I am sure someone will reply.
We are going there in 2 weeks. What did they say about the ski school as we were just going to book when we got there. did they allow you to book the ski school already? Karen |

Ok so I am trying to finalise my travel insurance.
I need to insure a family of 4 (nephew has own insurance) We will be hireing equipment (through skiset for which I have already taken out extra insurance with) We will also be in ski school. We are not planning on doing anything more dangerous than skiing and toboganning. So....when I am looking for insurance what exactly is it that I am looking for. When I was searching some compare sight one of them gave me the option of search and rescue, while the others said N/A Karen |

After 20 years of not skiing, and not booked into ski school, I was wondering if the nursery slopes adjacent to the gondola were for everyone or only for ski school? I was hoping for a couple of practice runs before going up on the gondola. what do you think?
