Is this it?

I looked at Google maps, and Worgl seems to be only a couple of miles from Niederau, beside the main autobahn. It's a major rail intersection.

Karen,
Wave is great :)
Been there loadsa times and it's a complete change from UK water centres. Primarily due to the almost total lack of whistles … Kids run, kids fall over, kids cry, kids run, kids think, kids stop running easy peasy :)
There is one main pool which shallows to nothing which has waves about every 20 mins, 3 flumes, a “lengths” pool and an indoor / outdoor play pool which is kept nicely warm. One of the things which we enjoy is that the Café is poolside selling a good range of foods including a well stocked DIY salad bar as well as beers, wines and spirits. You can sit and eat and drink while watching your brood in peace, very civil! Oh and if you’re daft enough to go jumping in while half cut it’s your own fault :)
The other half of the complex is underground, and it’s said to be the largest “Wellness” complex in the Tirol. It’s certainly very impressive with steam grottos, spas, saunas, and ample places to relax and unwind. It is strictly Over 18 and strictly “No clothes” so be prepared ;)
If you give it a go let us know how you get on!!

thanks Jan
It looks really nice.
I think we might go there one evening if we have got the energy, but I think we will be giving the wellness section a miss.

karen72 did you go to the Wave Worgl Water World? Was it good? How did you get there from Niederau?
We might try to visit there next week when we're in N.

Hi Allie
We didnt get to the water world at Worgl but we did manage to do the tobagganing night at Oberau which was fab and the kids loved. It cost about £35 euro for the 5 of us and you get an hour sledging, the button lift pulls you up the slope. This needs to be prebooked, our apartment owner organised this for us.
