Fair enough Scnapps, but what about Arnaud's assurance?
Have to say, I never insure ski gear, if someone nicks my skis, good luck to them, I'd like to see them ski on them! Since in 43 years of skiing, I have never had theft insurance, and not had gear stolen, I guess I am a wee bit ahead of the game. And if it happens? Well, I'll just spend another £50 on skis. ) |

Aldi gear for the most part is of good quality. It has to pass German procurement standards. I am quite critical of gear, mainly because it has to do a lot of ski weeks. I never look at the label. Function and quality are prime.
I recently tried on a pair of so called branded sallopettes in a big ski store, priced at £250. They were pretty poor. |

Peace, goodwill, and DEEP SNOW to all J2skiers.
Lang may your lumb reek! |

Schnapps, how could you not leave them unnattended? Everyone has to eat, drink, pee.
Anyway, Arnaud has given you the definitive answer from Skiset, J2ski's ski rental of choice. And a very good outfit they are too. |

Emma, the future's orange! Ade, you will finnd that the Reps are offering a combined mini-bus and lift pass, at least a couple of days a week. If you decide to go yourself, you could phone Werner Rist, will pm you his phone no. Mention my name, he will give you a price. If you google the skiWelt tourist office, you can then find out the price of day cards. |

Good info, Basketcase, I had misplaced the website. Thanks for that.
Five days is normal at 139 Eu, leaving one free day. Having said that, 6 Eu difference is a good buy, especially with the best ski school in Tirol! |

It's a bit too soon for packing, it's not even Christmas Eve yet ~ time to start looking for a pressy for the OH.
I will print off my packing list tomorrow, (I keep one for summer, one for winter) Then will just prepare my painting gear. All the rest can wait until Christmas Day. |
