Ski equipment in Aldi Monday 27th.

http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/offers_week52Monday10.htm

some good reviews in previous years. Definetly good enough for anyone wanting to try skiing for the first time but dosent want to risk investing to much money on gear. Normally it is limited stock.

Wow, for the price some of that stuff looks good. Handwarmers @ £1.49? Cheap as chips!
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

Lip balm and thermals is about as far as I'd go with that stuff.

I have never worn thermals, just the one layer on my legs and three on my top bit,and a little something on my head plus the most important item my hip flask filled with a very pleasant aged
cognac.

Surprizing as it may seem the quality of Aldi ski gear is better than you might anticipate. (Presumably cheapo German is better than cheapo UK)
My first Jacket & Salopettes came from Aldi - I've still got the Jacket (which is more than I can say for some of the more expensive ones I've had since) although the diet rendered the salopettes obsolete.

My husbands Aldi Jacket has lasted much longer than my expensive brand one and he goes skiing twice as much as I do! A lot of my base layer is Aldi and it is good stuff and so are the hats and gloves!

Aldi gear for the most part is of good quality. It has to pass German procurement standards. I am quite critical of gear, mainly because it has to do a lot of ski weeks. I never look at the label. Function and quality are prime.
I recently tried on a pair of so called branded sallopettes in a big ski store, priced at £250. They were pretty poor.
