Mr PSC and myself spent a lovely weekend last weekend in St Martin de Belleville, France. Linked by a gondola and then a chairlift to the Three Valleys so the sking is superb. If you want a real romantic treat stay in La Bouitte in nearby St Marcel - http://www.la-bouitte.com/. Both villages are traditional and cosy. Not a lot to do off slope just some quiet bars and restaurants.

Just had our first days sailing of the season and it was superb - lovely spring sunshine and light breeze - some more days like this willkeepme going till New Years skiing!!

interesting light

It's got a miniature memory card the size of a small child's (probably like the ones you have had problems with!!) fingernail that amazingly holds 8GB!! Too late for me to try and work out how many 8 megapixel photos that will hold though...

Many years ago we stayed in Baden Baden BC and did exactly the same as Tino! As I remember the Italian was fantastic so things have not changed. We were not staying in a hotel but the campsite - think two man tent and Vauxhall Nova! You had to pay for warm showers and most of the Germans didnt!! Ja das is sehr gut!!!

It is a lovely stop over and if you can stay in a hotel even better!

Got the big depression now as my last snow fix was on Monday after four days in St Martin so got to start thinking Sailing and Summer Holidays now

Funnily enough I too have been thinking about my summer hols - must be the good weather 8) As is the usual going to our caravan in the Vendee for a month (just for me and daughter OH and son will come out for a week or two). Will be putting the boat back on the lake soon so lots of weekends on Windermere planned too. Can't wait till daughter gets older because I would love to go back to the Alps in summer. Got one last long ski weekend at Easter yet though

Because they have one leg shorter than the other to help them get up the mountains quicker in their native habitat Scotland.

Before you think I have gone bonkers - that was what I was told when small and I do now know that a haggis is not an animal
